The French Press has been around since 1929. Extremely simple and easy to use, the French Press has become a very popular full immersion home-brewing device. Our recipe brews two cups, but can be halved for more a single-cup recipe.

Its no secret that we are big AeroPress fans here at Avatar Coffee Roasters. It is easy to use, extremely durable, compact and most importantly it can produce some truly exceptional cups of coffee. In addition to brewing up strong, transparent cups, the recipe can be changed to be brewed over ice for a manual brewed iced coffee.

Using the AeroPress and Prismo, you can brew some very concentrated coffees that look and taste similar to espresso shots from a professional espresso machine. Although the brewing pressure is no where near what a steam boiler produces, this 'shot' comes through packed full of flavor.
